Ébénisterie Éloïse is an independent workshop based in the Greater Montreal area which designs and creates high quality goods that will last you lifetime. My work is centered on an artisanal approach to wood and complementary materials. Along with furniture making and case goods, I specialize in the fabrication of precision-made hand tools.
My experience ranges from traditional to contemporary design. The one constant across my work is quality and longevity of anything that leaves my workshop. I focus on the use of solid wood but also integrate plywood and other materials such as leather, cloth and metals.
Pushing past the typical boundaries of woodworking, I’ve incorporated methods usually used by machinists. This has given me the ability to add precision and movement to my pieces with the use of unique mechanisms.
From the start of my practice, my work has incorporated hand carving and traditional joinery methods. This enables me to create beautiful unique products that will last several lifetimes.
In addition to fabricating the pieces, I also designs the vast majority. With custom and unique designs being the standard at Ébénisterie Éloïse, clients are guided through the design process to bring to the world original pieces that go above and beyond.
